ALBANY It wasn't going to be the College of Saint Rose's secret forever. Brian Beaury, the coach of the Golden Knights, knew that one day people from the next level would find out about the big guy.
Now the news is out. The National Basketball Association has heard some of the stories surrounding 7-foot-1, 305-pound Garth Joseph, a freshman at St. Rose.
They know that Joseph, in just his first year of basketball in the United States, is averaging 13.4 points and 12.8 rebounds per game for St. Rose. And the dunks; they know that Joseph has dunked the ball 36 times in the last three games.
