Fed: Youth feel ignored, trivialised by politicians: Despoja

Australian Democrats Senator NATASHA STOTT DESPOJA says young Australians feel their
rights are ignored and trivialised by politicians.

Releasing the Youth Poll annual survey, Senator STOTT DESPOJA said young Australians
are disengaged from the political process.

Senator STOTT DESPOJA says the result is a wake up call to the major parties in the
lead-up to the next federal poll.

She says many young Australians feel their rights are being ignored, that they are
often misrepresented and trivialised.
