SA: Woman in stable condition with meningococcal

ADELAIDE, Dec 30 AAP - A 23-year-old Victorian woman was today in a stable condition
after a suspected case of meningococcal infection on Christmas day, the South Australian
human services department said.

The department said 15 people who had been in contact with the woman had been traced
and provided with information and antibiotics, if needed.

There have been 27 confirmed cases of meningococcal infection in South Australia this year.
