NSW: Michelle Timms helps launch youth appeal

Olympic silver medallist MICHELLE TIMMS has used her profile as one of Australia's
top basketballers to draw attention to the problems facing young people.

Launching Mission Australia's annual youth appeal today, Ms TIMMS said she wants kids
to realise they can deal with problems by talking about them.

She spoke with 150 school children on a range of issues including mental health, depression
and suicide.
