Raymond H. Burmeister

Raymond H. Burmeister, 79, a Commonwealth Edison employee andformer Glenview volunteer fire chief, died Sunday in Oakton PavillionNursing Home, 666 Oakton Ct., Des Plaines.

Mr. Burmeister, of Elk Grove Village, held the fire chief postfrom 1958 to 1968, when he retired. He joined the fire department in1931 and was honored by the village in 1968 as the citizen of theyear.
